This program updates the Sony Image Converter application on the Palm Desktop for CLI¨¦ Handhelds and adds the following function enhancements:--Significant enhancements to improve ease of use.--Improvements to the appearance of the user interface.--Inclusion of the Sony Giga Pocket software for simultaneous recording within the the Sony Image Converter Version 1.5 application.--Automatic support for large recordings that may span two or more memory sticks.--Support of additional file formats including WMV, AVI, MPEG1, and QuickTime.

Before installing this application, confirm that there is enough hard disk space available.--Prior to viewing movies converted by the Image Converter Version 1.5 application, install the Movie Player System Software Update Program on the following models: PEG-NZ90, PEG-TG50, PEG-NX60, PEG-NX70V, PEG-NX73V, PEG-NX80V.--This update requires that QuickTime Player Version 6.0 or higher be installed on the computer. The latest version can be downloaded at no charge from http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/.--If DirectX Version 9.0 is installed in the computer you may find compatibility problems with certain third party application software products. For resolution of such issues please contact the vendor.--Ensure that the Palm Desktop for CLI¨¦ handheld software is installed on your computer from the installation CD-ROM supplied with your CLI¨¦ handheld.--Please ensure that the CD-ROM supplied with your CLI¨¦ handheld is in the disc drive during the installation of this update.--Confirm that the computer is configured to be able to perform a HotSync operation. (For the detailed information about HotSync, refer to the CLI¨¦ handheld's Read This First manual.)--During the installation of this file, be sure that you are logged in as the Administrator or as a user with Administrative rights.--To ensure that no other program interferes with the installation, save all work and close all other programs.
